Scenic Freelancer

Team player on production crew for seasonal shows in the scene shop, on the main stage, and in the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts.

Production Designer

HEATHER SCHMID EID ONLINE CONCERT: Celebrating the Greats of Pakistan. Heather Schmid is an American GRAMMY member, international recording artist, classically trained singer, spokesperson and philanthropist.

Technical Coordinator for the Arts

Set up stage, lights, and sound for a variety of events and college productions. Experience with light and sound board operation. Working with and educating students on technical theatre. Careful attention to crowd safety and emergency procedures.

Workshop Teacher

Organized a wood crafting class in the maker space. Teaching tool safety, cutting, drilling, and assembly with an emphasis on designing for recycled materials collected from stage construction debris. Students have constructed bat boxes, step stools, and gumball machines.

Scenic Designer/Technical Director

Designed and built the projection rigs and screens for the multi-media productions which have varied in scale from The Plaza Black Box Theatre to the Boston Center of the Arts. Each of the new works produced by Charlotte Meehan are created to impact social change and raise awareness on current events.

Adjunct Professor

Teaching Technical Theatre Practicum and Stagecraft. Production role as Scenic Charge Artist, Master Carpenter, Properties, and Scenic Designer. Remote and hybrid scene shop experiences.

Technical Director, Scenic & Lighting Design

Successful production of “Puffs” in the Boston center of the Arts. This involved special effects, puppetry, and immersive theatre features.

Arts & Science Teacher

Teaching STEAM related subjects to students grades 3rd through 8th including Math Circle, Movie Making, Woodcrafting, Shakespeare, and Drama Club.
